Russell bemused by ‘chaotic’ Alonso penalty confusion
George Russell faced a roller coaster of emotions both during and after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, as he was unaware of penalties for Fernando Alonso. Aston Martin took a five-second time penalty — given to Alonso for being out of position on the grid — during his pit stop, but Russell thought it was still to be applied after the race when he was trying to chase down the Spaniard.
