Russell felt Alonso deserved P3 after "harsh" post-race penalty

The Mercedes driver finished behind on the road, but a 10 second time penalty post race promoted him to the final podium spot. "I think the penalty for Fernando is pretty harsh. They are deserving of a podium finish today, but I'll take an extra trophy," he told Sky Sports. Alonso was initially handed a five-second time penalty for being too far to the left on his grid slot at the start of the race.
