Ex-F1 driver's son wins championship

Motorsport talent often runs in the family, with the sons of Michael Schumacher, Juan Pablo Montoya and Alex Wurz all on the pathway to F1 success. Alex Wurz made 69 Grand Prix starts during his F1 career with Benetton, McLaren and Williams, standing on the podium and impressive three times. His son Charlie Wurz will be taking part in the Formula Regional European Championship this season, making the step up from Formula 4 in an effort to get ever closer to his Formula 1 dream. At the start of this year however, Wurz took part in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship, impressively winning the title at the age of 17.
