Adrian Newey makes ‘naughty and silly' admission about Max Verstappen
The title race between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in 2021 was one of the most entertaining battles for championship glory that fans have seen for some time. The battle for the title went right down to the final lap of the season finale in Abu Dhabi, where a controversial safety car procedure saw Verstappen beat his rival to his first title. The season was full of controversy, with the two heavyweights of the F1 world coming to blows on numerous occasions, often resulting in a long and hotly debated inquest into the actions of both drivers.
