Newey: Difficult to top 2022

Adrian Newey, Red Bull's Chief Technical Officer, claimed the 2022 Formula 1 season was such a great season for the team, that it would be difficult to top it. The Red Bull RB18 might have had some catching up to do with Ferrari's F1-75 at the start of the 2022 F1 season, but as its campaign progressed, the car became one of Adrian Newey's masterpieces, dominant in every aspect. As such Max Verstappen steered the RB18 towards a record 15 race wins, while Sergio Perez registered two wins of his own, meaning Red Bull amassed 17 wins in 22 grands prix.
