Verstappen: We tried a few things with the car, pretty positive

Max Verstappen labelled his Friday in Austin as pretty positive, and revealed Red Bull did some experimenting with the RB18's setup, trying a few things. Verstappen was second fastest in FP1, 0.224s off the pace of session leader Carlos Sainz, but the Dutchman notably spent a considerable amount of time in the team garage, his team working on the setup of his RB18. Speaking in Red Bull's post session press release, Verstappen reflected: 'FP1 I think was quite good, we tried a few things with the car and it was pretty positive.
