Ricciardo hints at 'plan' to return to front of F1 grid beyond 2023

Article To news overview © XPBimages Daniel Ricciardo has revealed that he is putting a "plan in place" in the hope of returning to the front of the F1 pack in the future. The Australian recently ruled out the possibility of being on the grid in 2023, following on from the announcement in August that he and McLaren had mutually agreed to terminate his contract early. While Ricciardo's plans for the year ahead are still not clear, the 33-year-old is keen to stay within Formula 1 and has previously acknowledged that taking a reserve driver role could be an option.
