Aston Martin hand De la Rosa expansive ambassadorial role

Ian Parkes Thursday 13 October 2022 10:12 - Updated: 10:17 Aston Martin has appointed former F1 driver Pedro de la Rosa to the newly created role of ambassador with the team. De la Rosa will undertake communications, media, PR, marketing, promotional, commercial and general advisory duties for Aston Martin. The 51-year-old Spaniard will also consult to the team's new Driver Development Programme, helping to select, train and develop junior talent. De la Rosa, who competed in F1 between 1991 and 2012, racing in 104 grands prix with five teams, said: “I am delighted to be joining Aston Martin as team ambassador.
