Verstappen wins after rain delayed and shortened race
Japanese Grand Prix – Max Verstappen took victory on F1's return to Japan after a long Red Flag for rain. Perez took P2 after a time penalty for Leclerc. The rain began to come down just over an hour before the race start, unlike in Singapore though, the rain was steady but not overly heavy so the race would be getting underway as planned with all cars on intermediate tyres. Race Results – 2022 Japanese Grand Prix Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc will be starting from the front row with their teammates Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez behind them.
