Red Bull and Honda cement existing F1 partnership

With the protracted Porsche affair done and dusted, Red Bull and Honda have cosied up again by strengthening their Formula 1 partnership until 2026 for both their teams. The announcement, ahead of this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix at Honda owned-Suzuka Circuit, means that the partnership which began in 2018, with Toro Rosso first, expanded a year later to power the senior team. At the end of last year, Honda ‘pulled out' of F1 for the umpteenth time but remained to supply engines and support throughout the Red Bull romance with Porsche, and when the team decided the German manufacturer was not what they were looking for, it paved the way to strengthen the Honda relationship.
