F1 drivers' penalty points: Who is walking a tightrope in Singapore?
Sam Hall Thursday 29 September 2022 10:49 F1 arrives in Singapore for the first time since 2019 but who will have to watch their step around the Marina Bay Circuit? Championship leader Max Verstappen enters the weekend with just five penalty points after entering the phase of the year where his licence begins to clear. But it is Yuki Tsunoda that faces the biggest challenge with eight points to his name after adding two for ignoring yellow flags during practice at the Italian Grand Prix last time out. Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon have the next highest totals on seven. Alongside time penalties, driving infringements also carry penalty points to ensure driving standards are maintained. These...
