Video: Dramatic Super Formula crash as car splits in two
Video To news overview A spectacular crash in Round 6 of the 2022 Super Formula Championship at Fuji Speedway on Sunday saw Sacha Fenestraz's Kondo Racing entry split in two after clouting the barriers at high speed. Fenestraz, who currently lies third in the Super Formula series, and had won the previous round at Sportsland Sugo, was dicing with Naoki Yamamoto when the Japanese driver clipped the right-rear of the Toyota-powered car, sending the Frenchman spinning out of control and into the tyre barrier. Though the force of the crash saw the rear of the Dallara SF19 break away from the rest of the chassis, Fenestraz was able to walk away from the wreck, later tweeting to confirm he was...
