Red Bull under pressure from McLaren after second place in Austria

McLaren has once again shown that it can compete with Red Bull Racing in the pit lane in 2022. The Woking-based team delivered the fastest pit stop in Austria, but Red Bull are hot on their heels. Article continues under ad For years, Red Bull Racing ruled the pit lane, but with new 18-inch tyres from Pirelli, everyone is starting from scratch. McLaren appear to be practising a lot on pit stops, as the team set the fastest pit stop time on the Red Bull Ring. With a 2.25s pit stop it set the second fastest time this season.
