Austria Qualifying: Verstappen on pole, Hamilton and Russell crash

Max Verstappen took pole position at the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix, while both Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell crashed out. The two Mercedes drivers crashed within minutes from each other, and put themselves out of the running for a decent result in qualifying, especially Hamilton, who was looking good all qualifying until his Q3 error. It was always going to be a challenging qualifying for the second Sprint Race of the 2022 Formula 1 season, as the teams had one hour to set their cars up, the teams were on to a challenging qualifying .
