FIA announce departure of head executive

Article To news overview © FIA It has been confirmed that Peter Bayer has left the FIA. Bayer – who was responsible in his position as Secretary General for Sport for the activities of the FIA's sport department, representing FIA sport clubs worldwide – is departing from the organisation after serving in the role since 2017. He had also held the position of F1 Executive Director since 2021. A statement from the FIA reads: "The FIA warmly thanks him for the achievements he has contributed to the development of motorsport over the last five years.
