Hamilton: I've had jewellery for 16 years, safety not an issue back then?
Lewis Hamilton questioned the intentions of the FIA's clampdown on Formula 1 drivers' jewellery, wondering how safety wasn't an issue before, especially as he has worn jewellery for 16 years. The seven-times world champion said he has no intention of removing his body piercing despite being given just a two race exemption to resolve the issue.
