Andretti: Money is not the issue

Michael Andretti insisted that money was not the problem behind his failed attempt to acquire the Alfa Romeo Sauber team ahead of the 2022 Formula 1 season, as the American continue to bid an entry for a new team in the sport. If things had gone according to plan, Colton Herta – six times IndyCar winner and currently driving for Andretti's IndyCar team – would be in Miami preparing for the fifth Formula 1 race of his career. Instead, the 22-year-old Californian is headed to the inaugural Miami Grand Prix as a spectator.
