Wolff apologises to Hamilton: Mercedes are not worthy

Hamilton finished outside the points at Imola after spending much of the race trying and failing the pass the AlphaTauri of Pierre Gasly. The 37-year-old's misery was compounded by the fine performance of his teammate, George Russell, who was able to fend off Valtteri Bottas during the final laps to place fifth.
