Whether you like him or not, agree with him or not, Joe Saward is the top Formula 1 journalist of this era. Full stop. And his take on the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend is a must-read, this is why. It's arguably not the done thing to credit or shill for someone who works for ‘rival' websites (and probably thinks little of us) but Joe is special and can write/say what he likes. I have been a long time reader of his public Blog. It's essential reading, coupled with his never-ending knowledge of the history of our sport, he has educated and inspired me personally no end for over a decade now.
