F1 set for unprecedented number of DRS zones in Australia

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Formula 1 drivers look set to use the Drag Reduction System (DRS) more than ever before at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, with a fourth zone being added to the Albert Park Circuit. Last raced at in 2019, Melbourne's popular street track has undergone significant changes ahead of the event's return in 2022, including the removal of the Turn 9-10 chicane for an extended 'straight'. According to an updated graphic on the official Formula 1 website, an extra DRS zone will be added to this section as a result of the changes.
