Surer on Las Vegas GP '81: 'Most F1-unworthy circuit ever'

The Las Vegas Grand Prix will return to the F1 calendar after a 31-year absence. According to the news coverage of the 2023 event, the differences from the 1981 GP are significant. If Marc Surer is to be believed, that's not a luxury. Back in 1981, a Las Vegas GP took place in the parking lot of Ceasars Palace, and the drivers simply drove 75 laps around the parking lot there. The difference in size between the circuit of then and the announced 2023 circuit is enormous. According to former F1 driver Surer, this is not a luxury. The Swiss driver remembers it all too well.
