Hamilton: 'It's been an okay day', but work remains
Lewis Hamilton appeared slightly happier about the state of his Mercedes W13 this week, after the end of Friday's first free practice sessions at Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia. Hamilton finished FP2 in fifth place and was within half a second of pace setter Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari, much better than last week's performance in Bahrain. But he was quick to acknowledge that the car was still suffering the same sort of performance issues, in particular the phenomenon of 'porpoising' where the cars bounces up and down on fast straights due to ground effect aerodynamics.
