Sainz: 'It would’ve had a P3 without max’s retirement'

Carlos Sainz could be very satisfied with the performance after the first Grand Prix in Bahrain. Where his teammate Charles Leclerc crossed the finish line first, the Spaniard managed to grab the second final position. Nevertheless, the driver still sees plenty of room for improvement. Last season Sainz experienced his first year at Ferrari. In the early stages of the season he struggled to tap a high level, but over the course of the racing year he managed to compete with Leclerc.
