Whincup to drive in AGP Ultimate Speed Comparison
Jamie Whincup in his last competitive appearance at Albert Park, in 2020 Jamie Whincup will be back behind the wheel of a Supercar as part of the MSS Security Ultimate Speed Comparison at next month’s Formula 1 Heineken Australian Grand Prix. The new Triple Eight team principal will take part in a series of demonstrations at Albert Park which will pit a Red Bull Ampol Racing ZB Commodore Supercar against an AP4-spec Toyota GR Yaris rally car and a Porsche Taycan Turbo S road car. Australian rally champion Harry Bates will drive the GR Yaris AP4, a model which made its debut in competition last year, while 2017 Bathurst 1000 winner and Carrera Cup regular Luke Youlden will be behind the...
