McLaren opposed to raising budget cap for sprint races

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown says that his team is firmly opposed to raising the sport's budget cap to allow for increased costs related to running more sprint qualifying races in 2022. The new format sees traditional qualifying moved to Friday evening, setting the starting order for a short half-hour sprint race on Saturday the result of which in turn sets the grid for Sunday's Grand Prix.
