'Mercedes prepares for important conversation with FIA'
Toto Wolff has an important meeting with FIA boss Mohammed Ben Sulayem on Friday, the Daily Mail reports. On the agenda would be the 2021 season finale, in which Lewis Hamilton felt that the race control penalized him. The Briton was leading for quite a while at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and looked set to grab his eighth world title, until Nicholas Latifi drove hard into the wall. A safety car followed, giving Max Verstappen the chance to change his tires. When the stewards also decided to call the safety car in a lap early and Verstappen caught up with him, he could no longer suppress his anger.
