Mick bringing ‘new level of depth' to Haas analysis

Haas race engineer Gary Gannon has lauded the detail Mick Schumacher brings in behind-the-scenes discussions, saying he takes it to 'a new level'. Gannon worked with Schumacher in the 2021 season and taught him elements of what he needs to know about Formula 1 while the young German took part in his rookie season at Haas. He admitted Schumacher still has plenty to get used to as a driver but Gannon, former race engineer for both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen at Haas, was full of praise for the youngster's approach. “I've learned a lot with my drivers over the years but Mick is so professional, calm and always so clear,' Gannon told Motorsport Magazin.
