Eight years ago today: Schumacher's devastating skiing accident

Today it is eight years since Michael Schumacher was involved in a serious skiing accident. The respect for Schumacher and his achievements has never disappeared and sympathy is still noticable today. On 29 December 2013, things went wrong for the then 44-year-old former racing driver. He hit his head on a stone during a fall and sustained severe brain damage as a result. What exactly happened that day and how he is doing now has been unknown ever since.
