Russell reflects on lessons learned as GPDA director
George Russell says he has learned much more about other aspects of motorsport since he was made a director of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association this year. The now-Mercedes driver replaced Romain Grosjean as a driver representative on the committee earlier in the year, and he serves alongside Sebastian Vettel as a director with chairman Alex Wurz and legal expert Anastasia Fowle – and they all promote the interests of the drivers on the grid, effectively acting as their trade union.
