'New contract almost signed, Sainz to remain at Ferrari until 2024'
In all the commotion surrounding the decision in the title race, it was almost forgotten that Carlos Sainz drove a great race in Abu Dhabi. The Ferrari driver sealed this with a fine third place. Sainz ended the season in fifth place in the final standings, two places above his celebrated teammate Charles Leclerc.
