The top 10 F1 drivers of the 2021 season
Doing my annual list of the top 10 drivers of the F1 season was a much harder task this year than in the recent years. The quality of driving in 2021 was at a very high level in general with most drivers delivering star performances at some stage of the season, but here we go: 10. Valtteri Bottas Valtteri finished third in the World Championship but, on the whole, he seemed further away from Lewis Hamilton than in recent seasons. The reason he edged Sergio Perez into my top 10 was because there were more instances where he qualified in the top three and made himself a nuisance for the Red Bull strategists in the first stint of the race.
