What Verstappen now has in common with Senna, Prost and Piquet

Article To news overview © Red Bull Content Pool / Getty Images Max Verstappen became the first Honda-powered driver to claim the Formula 1 World Championship for 30 years by winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Prior to last weekend, just three drivers had won the title for Honda - Nelson Piquet in 1987, Alain Prost in 1989 and Ayrton Senna three times in 1988, 1990 and 1991. Verstappen became the first non-Mercedes driver to win the World Championship in F1's turbo-hybrid era, scoring a record 18 podiums this season.
