Toto Wolff shied away from the media after Lewis Hamilton's painful defeat in Abu Dhabi, the Mercedes team boss reportedly locked in his office at Yas Marina with the Brackley squad's lawyers pondering his outfit's next legal move. Mercedes' PR department was equally uncommunicative after Sunday's event, holding back its usual post-race report and team quotes, perhaps for fear of publishing comments that the team would later come to regret.
