Oscar Piastri wins the Formula 2 championship with two races to go!

Oscar Piastri is the champion of Formula 2 in 2021! The Australian's third place finish in the first race in Abu Dhabi was enough for him. Piastri succeeds  Mick Schumacher , who became champion last season. Piastri succeeds Schumacher There are still two races to go in this Formula 2 season, but nobody can catch Piastri when it comes to the championship. The Prema Powerteam driver had enough with his P3 finish in the first sprint race of the weekend. Piastri will not move straight into Formula 1 after his F2 championship, although he will test for Alpine F1 Team and is the French team's reserve driver.
