Ecclestone: 'Williams did not suffer in his final hours'

Bernie Ecclestone and Frank Williams have a long history. Both were decisive faces in Formula 1 for decades. Ecclestone is also shocked about the death of the former team boss. Contact Against the English newspaper The Independent Ecclestone, now 91-years old, tells Sunday morning that he had contact with Claire Williams, Frank's daughter. “I spoke to Claire this morning. She was obviously upset. They called her yesterday to the hospital and said you ought to come and see him because he doesn’t have long left with us.
