For this reason we will not see Mazepin in FP2!
Nikita Mazepin will have a new chassis in Qatar. The reason for this is not (yet) clear, but it is known that the Russian driver will be forced to miss the second free practice. As for all other drivers, it is Mazepin's first time in a Formula 1 car at the Losail International Circuit. So precious track time is lost for the 22-year-old driver and his American team. Mick Schumacher is the only one who can collect data on Friday in the run-up to qualifying. The German has to stay out of the gravel. In the first free practice the talent shot off the track and ended up in the gravel. Although he managed to make it to the pit lane, the session was over for him. Haas F1 only one car at the start...
