MERCEDES REQUEST REVIEW OF VERSTAPPEN'S DEFENSIVE ACTIONS IN BRAZIL

Mercedes has asked the FIA for a review of Max Verstappen's defensive actions against Lewis Hamilton at the Brazilian Grand Prix. According to Mercedes, this is based on new evidence that was not available to the stewards at the time of the decision.  Mercedes' request comes after new onboard footage of Verstappen was revealed. Earlier, the footage was not available and could not be taken into account by the stewards in their decision not to give Verstappen a penalty for his actions in turn four on lap 48.
