Bottas heads Mexico City FP1, Hamilton summoned
Valtteri Bottas led a closely-contested opening practice session for Formula 1’s Mexico City Grand Prix on Friday. Bottas clocked a time of 1:18.341s to finish just 0.076s clear of Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton. Championship leader Max Verstappen was third, just 0.123s behind Bottas.
