'Audi nears deal with Red Bull, Volkswagen to decide on F1 in November'
It looks more and more like the Volkswagen Group is actually going to join Formula 1. Just like Bild last week, F1-Insider now also reports that the German car manufacturer is about to make the step to the highest class of motor sports with its Audi and Porsche. Bild talked about a cooperation between Audi-Williams and Porsche-McLaren, but according to the latest rumours from the circuit Audi wants to cooperate with Red Bull Racing. The intention is that in November during the meeting of the supervisory board in Wolfsburg the knot will be cut.
