New line-up of medical car during Turkish GP due to COVID

The medical car during the Turkish Grand Prix at the Istanbul Park circuit will not be driven by Dr. Ian Roberts and Alan van der Merwe as is normally the case. The FIA has confirmed this. Positive corona test The reason for the absence of the duo, who last year performed heroically during the heavy crash of Romain Grosjean in Bahrain, is a positive corona test. Both Roberts and Van Der Merwe tested positive before taking the plane to Turkey. The pair are in isolation and both will therefore not be able to drive the medical car during the Turkish Grand Prix.
