Formula 1 announces sustainable fuel: "Same power, less emissions"

Formula 1 has big plans in terms of carbon emissions: they should be neutral by 2030. To that end, synthetic fuels are being introduced, which should reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 65 percent. A new fuel made from 90 percent fossil fuel and ten percent ethanol will already be introduced in 2022. However, the plan is to develop a 100 percent renewable fuel for the launch of the new generation of Formula One engines.
