Stewards investigation begins into Verstappen and Hamilton collision

Article To news overview The stewards at Monza have begun their investigations into the incident that saw Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen collide on Lap 26 of the Italian Grand Prix. The pair were attempting to negotiate the first chicane side by side, with Hamilton emerging from the pit lane alongside Verstappen as the Dutch driver approached at full speed. Verstappen used his momentum to draw alongside Hamilton, hanging on around the outside of the right-hand part of the chicane, before the pair made contact at the apex of the left-hander.
