Szafnauer: Vettel announcement will be made 'very soon'

Article To news overview © Aston Martin With Sebastian Vettel's immediate future with Aston Martin yet to be confirmed, team boss Otmar Szafnauer believes an announcement about his contract can be made soon. Vettel is believed to be staying on with the team he switched to for this year, after being ousted from Ferrari, but that is yet to be confirmed by either party. Despite the apparent delays with negotiations, Szafnauer said there's no reason for Aston Martin and Vettel to separate just yet, and that the team want him to stay for 2022. "Yeah, very much so. We want Sebastian to stay. He likes the team," Szafnauer told select members of the media, including RacingNews365.com....
