Pérez admits: 'I wasn't quite there today'

Sergio Pérez experienced a difficult first day at the circuit of Zandvoort. The Mexican drove the sixteenth and twelfth fastest times, which means he and his team still have to work hard to get ready for qualifying. Despite his results, Pérez enjoyed the day. "It was awesome to get out there and drive this old school circuit," he states in the press release. "It’s very different to the other tracks we go to and with so many consecutive right-hand corners it’s a pretty unique and physical challenge.
