Perez takes a look at his own record: "Made a mistake"

Sergio Perez made a costly mistake on his lap en route to the grid Sunday afternoon. The Red Bull Racing driver slid off the track and was unable to return his RB16B to his team under his own power. The Austrian formation still managed to repair his car when the Belgian Grand Prix was postponed, but it ultimately resulted in zero points as the race never resumed. His seventh starting position was converted into last place, as Red Bull had violated the rules of the parc fermé during the repairs. No points for Perez.
