Belgian GP red-flagged after two laps due to ongoing rain

Article To news overview © Mercedes The Belgian Grand Prix has been suspended under a red flag once again, due to the ongoing rain and poor visibility at Spa-Francorchamps. At 18:17 local time, with the race timer on 60 minutes, the drivers filed out of the pit lane on full Wet tyres behind the Safety Car to evaluate conditions, three hours and 17 minutes after the originally scheduled start time. However, conditions, if anything, were even worse than earlier in the day, and, after just two laps behind the Safety Car, Race Control showed the red flags again to call a halt to the race. As it stands, the drivers have now completed sufficient distance for the race to be viewed as started....
