F1 introduces new overtaking award
Article To news overview © Aston Martin F1 F1 is rolling out a new driver accolade, with the inaugural 'Overtake Award' set to be given to the driver who, over the course of a season, makes the most overtakes on track. The inuagural Overtake Award for 2021 is sponsored by Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency platform that became one of F1's Global Partners last month and is also the title sponsor of the three F1 Sprint Qualifying races this year. At the moment, it's Aston Martin's Sebastian Vettel who leads the way with the most overtakes. But no data has been presented in how an overtake is defined, or whether it is simply a case of 'places gained' over the course of the season. To inform TV...
