Ricciardo aims for 2024: 'I need to be in a good position then'
McLaren is working hard in the background to make the step towards the top. A new wind tunnel should bridge the gap to the top teams, but that could take until 2024. Daniel Ricciardo however believes his team can achieve this. Ricciardo's contract expires at the end of 2023, but the Australian already wants to look further ahead. In 2021 McLaren is fighting for the third spot, and prior to the 2022 season it is mainly guesswork who will come out on top with the completely new regulations.
