'Japan's Grand Prix will be cancelled within days'

The Japanese Grand Prix is the next race that can be taken off the Formula 1 calendar. According to Racer.com it will be announced in the coming days that this race will not take place in 2021 either. Formula 1 was so keen to get back to a normal season in 2021, but it didn't actually work out that way. At the start of the season 23 races were scheduled, but in the meantime a lot has changed in the calendar. Japan will almost certainly be the next change, but possibly not the last.
