De Vries takes Formula E title after bizarre final race

After an incredibly exciting championship battle it was Nyck de Vries who delivered the final and decisive blow today. The driver from Sneek can now call himself Formula E world champion. With only the final feature race in Berlin remaining, fourteen drivers were still in with a chance of winning the coveted title. The entire top six were within six points of each other prior to the final race, but amidst this threat de Vries managed to maintain his lead.
